after rockclimbing, melanie and i rode down west river drive where i spotted this sweet statue. a naked man on a horse killing a dragon. sweeeeeet.

my family finally got to meet eric's family. we went to chestnut grill to celebrate my birthday. eric and connor kept shooting spit balls at eachother.....aaaahhh memories....

while waiting to go home on friday dusty and i played some old school computer games. this one is Number Crunchers...very fun.

today was my birthday. i'm not very excited about it so i didn't do anything special. just rockclimbing with mel and erin. the usual. here's me on an overhang.

melanie being melanie. she does this EVERY time.

and then mel rode her bike with me down kelly on my way home. it's one of my most favorite things to do. a decent way to start 25.

tonight on my bike ride home, i JUST missed a great sunset by about 1 minute. so instead i took a picture of this cool statue on kelly drive. he's pretty hip with his sword and sheild. it made me want to take a walk down kelly one day and take photos of all the statues on the drive...

and i've been meaning to take photos of this since sunday. eric and i found this great, super old sewing machine at a thrift store and he bought if for part of my birthday gift.

it's in great shape!

here's the bobbin which doesn't look like a bobbin at all. it's more like a shuttle. soooo neat.

and the best part was that the lady who owned it left all her stuff inside. so here are all teh attachments and old thread, hook and eyes, bias tape, needles, etc.... it's amazing!!!
